Ref: Citizens Firearms Training Course
The Walton County Sheriffs Office is pleased to offer a four hour Citizens Firearms Training Course. The class consists of an overview of basic Georgia laws concerning firearms carry, firearms safety, and marksmanship instruction. The cost of the class is $30.00 per person, non-refundable, payable in cash or money order only. To enroll in the course, please visit the Sheriffs Office main lobby, located at 1425 South Madison Avenue, Monroe, GA 30655. Classes will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. To attend the class, you must be at least 21 years old and provide your own handgun and 50 rounds of ammunition. The class instruction will not cover marksmanship instruction for rifles or shotguns. Notice, the Sheriffs Office will not provide a firearm or ammunition. The Sheriffs Office will provide all required safety gear and targets.

September 14, 2103 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

The location for all classes will be the Sheriffs Office Lobby. Upon enrollment, you will receive a separate informational sheet providing instructions for the day of training.
