The training division of the Walton
County Sheriff's Office is responsible for assuring that
training is conducted in accordance with the Peace Officers
Standards and Training of Georgia and the standards of the
Sheriff in order to properly serve the citizens of Walton
County. Georgia law enforcement officers must maintain
a specific level of training per year as per the Official
Code of Georgia Annotated 35-8-21.
